Mr. Brew has an extensive background in operations management and restructuring of under-performing businesses. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Power Systems Manufacturing from 2001 to 2008, during which period the size of the business grew from $8 million in revenue to over $90 million. From 1998 to 2000, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Laclede Steel, a publicly traded steel company that he successfully restructured, and from 1994 to 1997, he was Chief Executive Officer of Kurzweil Applied Intelligence Inc., a publicly traded speech recognition software company which was also successfully restructured and sold. From 1988 to 1994, Mr. Brew was a co-founder and Executive Vice President of ARGUS Management Corp., an operations management firm specializing in distressed situations and providing interim management services.
